In this debate I discuss the NAB cup and the AFL’s rule changes and have they had any effect on Flooding and on Contests in todays game.

Well said on the new rules Molly. Agree 100%. I know debate and controversy = ratings with a lot of media outlets but the whinging and hand wringing over the recent rules change is ridiculous.

Impeding the man after a mark will be a significant rule change (IF enforced of course) that could have an effect in improving the flow of play.

I hope so at least, our forwards need all the help they can get :)
