I think that the clubs are between a rock and a hard place in that if they do nothing claiming they are waiting for the court case they are hammered for doing nothing and if they do something on the charges they open themselves up to something like this. Now on Cousins I don't think that the Eagles did anything wrong as I would be really really suprised if one of the clauses in his new contract would be that he can't refuse a drug test and he did. Whether he gets off the case because he successfully argues that legally he didn't have to take the test, it still (assuming I am right on the contract) would breach his contract.
