VIDEO: Is Solomon’s career over with this hit?
Geelong had a very good win in a spiteful match with the Dockers. The talking point looks like it will be an ankle injury to Garry Ablett Jr and a cheek injury to Cameron Ling caused by a high hit by Dean Solomon. Could this be the end of his career? Read more

It was built up as being an interview with leagues most exciting player, Lance “Buddy” Franklin. He doesn’t give many interviews but this is a great one in my opinion. Have a look at it below, and I will add my comments below (you can too):

Video: Hutchy gets the sam treatment (Plus the real news)
Craig Hutchison was on the Footy show last night and he was speculating and interviewing and possibly crying.
He started off with an interview with the girlfriend of injured Tiger, Graham Polak. The interview wasn’t anything special apart from to hear that Graham is doing well and slowly doing a few of the normal things of life. The highlight of that interview though was when Hutchy asked this question: “Was it good to see that positive signs through out the week?” Purhaps surprising to Hutchy the answer was that the positive signs were good to see. I a pretty sure if he had asked if the negitive signs were bad to see, she would have said yes to that as well.

Stick that up your arse Craig Hutchy Hutchison - AC re-signs
I hate to say I told you so, Nah, I don’t! Back in April I raved on about h
ow stupid Craig Hutchison was for even brining up the same tired old line about how Hawthorn coach, Alastair Clarkson was unsigned and was he worried. I put forward that it was the same situation as 2/3 years ago when he was last out of contract and he would be re-signed in his own good time.
Well surprise surprise, only to Hutchy that is, well and maybe the sheeple in the media (including Patrick Smith), I get a Facebook event invite from Hawka (yes, Hawka the hawks mascot who is the face of the Hawks on Facebook) to the re-signing of Clarko. And here is the announcement:
Hawthorn Football Club senior coach Alastair Clarkson has put pen to paper on a new three year contract, as the Club continues to re-establish itself as one of the AFLs premier clubs. The contract was finalised behind closed doors today at Waverley Park, with Club President, Jeff Kennett, happy to confirm the news.
Official AFL Website of the Hawthorn Football Club > News Article > Clarkson re-signs for three
Congrats to AC, Jeff Kennett, the Hawks Committee, the Footy Department and the players. This is great news for the club that they have the best coach in the AFL locked away for 3 years and now we can concentrate on moving towards our (I am a bias Hawks Fan) 10th Flag!

Beat the Press with the Full Forwards
I have to say not one of the best beat the Presses. This time the guests where Matthew Richardson, Nathan Thompson and David Neitz. Talk of was Neitz wrong/forced to go. Richardsons was question about him being in the leadership group and Thompson about his health and fight with depression. So here it is:
April 21, 2008: AFL players have a no-holds-barred talk with the press.

Video - Footy Classified - Caro vs the Boys Club over James Brayshaw
Monday rolled around and there was a lot of The Boys Club (Gary, Hutchy and Glen) vs Caro. One issue that brought this to the front was the fact that Roos Chairman, James Brayshaw, didn’t go to the game after calling for all the members to turn out due to his commitments to call the footy on Triple M.
This was the game that was moved back from the Gold Coast after the Roos decided not to go to the Gold Coast. I came out all week that they needed to get 30K worth of supporters to turn up to justify the move and they could only manage 23k!
Caro mentioned that she was suprised that he wasn’t at the game. The suprise isn’t that from the fact alone that he wasn’t at the game as much as it was that he called for people to turn up and then not turning up himself.
But enough of me, have a look at the video below.
James Brayshaw missing in action
April 14, 2008: The panel discusses Caroline Wilson’s criticism of James Brayshaw for not attending North Melbourne’s game on the weekend.
What do you think? Was James in the wrong or is Caro blowing it out of proportion? Comment below.
