Ricky Nixon, Player Agent pushing for Free Agency

Its been a while since the last show and so I started off going through the results of the 2008 finals and looking back at the Brownlow winner, Adam Cooney and the Grand Finalist, Geelong and Hawthorn. The Premiership cup was raised be Sam Mitchell and Alastair Clarkson of the Mighty Hawks.

I then discussed trade week. The rant of the show was saved for my ideas on how to get Trade week to work (starting with extending it longer then a week).

Well its Friday of Trade Week 2008 and the trades are starting to flow. Not the block buster O’Keefe or Green trades but the little trades around the edges.

  1. Rhyce Shaw of Collingwood along with the Pies 61 Pick to the Swans for Pick 46
  2. Anthony Corrie of the Brisbane Lions to the Pies for Collingwoods 93 pick in the Draft
  3. Farren Ray and Pick 48 to St Kilda with the Western Bulldogs getting the Saints second Round pick 31
  4. Brent Prismall from Geelong to Essendon for Pick 39
  5. Robert Warrnock from Fremantle along with pick 69 to Carlton for Picks 24, 56 and 72

These picks go along with the first trade of the 2008 period, Adam Thomson to the Tigers.
